From Point Venture Retreat you will have private access to the lake with your own swim dock, and will enjoy beautiful views of the lake while relaxing on the 2 levels of decks. The wood burning fireplace is a welcome attraction during the colder, winter months. Private driveway parking is provided for up to 4 vehicles and/or boat trailers. Deer roam freely in the early morning and evening hours.

Lakefront with Views

Lake Travis is a beautiful lake with 44,000 acres of cool, clean and clear water. The climate is considered to be one of the nation's healthiest, with 300 or more days of sunshine each year and the clean air of the Texas Hill Country. There is plenty of room for boating and water sports plus many coves where you can swim and relax.

Newly Renovated

Our renovated and redecorated town-home (completely renovated kitchen, new Spanish tile and solid bamboo floors)  has two bedrooms, a loft, two full baths and 350 square feet of decks on 2 levels. 

PVR can sleep 8 with all the comforts of home. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, the downstairs bedroom has a queen, and the loft has a queen size futon. There is also a brand new queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room.




Recreation

There are many activities to choose from in the gated subdivision of Point Venture. The Point Venture nine hole golf course located a block away was given an "A" rating by TravelGolf.com, and features a practice putting green, driving range, pro shop, and cart rental. We provide bicycles, tennis rackets and flotation devices for your use and enjoyment.

Pool

Other activities located a short walk away include: 

  • Jr. Olympic sized pool overlooking the lake  
  • six laykold tennis courts (four are lighted)  
  • workout room and 
  • a private 50 acre waterfront park with two boat ramps, gated children's play-scape, picnic tables and a pavilion.

The Point Venture Marina, located at the mouth of our cove, provides a fuel dock, a store, and The Gnarly Gar (formerly Pier on The Lake/Shades Cafe) floating restaurant. There are watercraft rentals located across the lake that are easily accessible via Water Taxi. The Gnarly Gar has reduced hours during the winter season.

There are several boat ramps available for use at the private Point Venture park. They have plenty of parking space and rarely do you have to wait to launch your boat.
